Breanna Manning has been in prison for two years today
Also known as Bradley, Manning has been subjected to torture over the past two years, including being locked up for 11 months straight in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day - before he was even charged with a crime.
His pre-trial hearing will be June 8 in Fort Meade, Virginia.

it’s possible that manning is suffering such harsh treatment at the hands of the government in part because of being outed (zhe’s trans).

80% of All SuperPAC Money in 2012 Comes From Just 100 People
They’re trying to buy democracy; think about this. If 100 ULTRA-wealthy people who have more money than god….these titans of industry whom we regularly complain and denounce are choosing to support one particular political group at an 80% clip – why do you think that is? When 150 Million out of 180 Million is spent on just one political party by a very small, exclusive group of people…do you think they’re looking out for YOU?
If 80 billionaires said…come vote for my guy….would you believe their interests were for you or themselves? That’s essentially what they’re doing only they’re representing themselves as someone else. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing and they are terrified of another Obama presidency. They see the tectonic plates shifting…the slow boil that is occurring and they DESPERATELY want to stop it. The only way to do that is to convince you to vote against your interests.
Because at the end of the day – your interests and the interests of the 1% are NOT the same. I will leave you with this quote from a billionaire hedge funder who is angry …I’ll let him explain:
“I think (the ultra-wealthy) actually have an insufficient influence, those who have enjoyed the benefits of our system more than ever now owe a duty to protect the system that has created the greatest nation on this planet.”
~Kenneth Griffin
Billionaire Hedge Fund ManagerNPR brings the low down HERE:
Right now, more than 80 percent of the money raised by superPACs has gone to pro-GOP groups. And, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, 80 percent of all the money raised by these groups has come from just 100 individuals — the wealthiest people in America. People like Texas billionaire Harold Simmons.
Simmons is believed to be the single largest donor to Karl Rove’s superPAC, Crossroads GPS. He’s probably best known for being one of several large donors to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the group that dogged Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid.
Several donors from that group and other Karl Rove projects are back this election year, too, says Charles Homans, who wrote a piece about Simmons for The New Republic. “If you look at the top of the list, it’s got most of the Swift Boat Veteran donors on it. And Harold Simmons is one of them.”
